Each year WeddingWire hands out awards to those businesses that demonstrate excellence in quality, service, responsiveness and professionalism. So if you get at least seven or eight reviews with an average rating of at least 3 stars from five different categories, you seem to qualify. In the past they called it “The Brides Choice Award”, but I guess they decided to get a little more PC, or, maybe for some other reason. Anyway, the award is not based so much on head to head competition, but it does still stand for an achievement. It show that we have received at least 8 positive reviews from our clients in the last year. We actually received about 26 five star reviews, which is great. What that is saying that isn’t just BS and fluff though, is that our clients are consistently happy with the product and service they receive from us and are willing to take the time to share that with others online. I think this goes a long way to help other potential clients feel assured about a businesses track record. We all read reviews nowadays to get some feedback about someones else’s experience with a product or service to give us a better idea of what we can expect ourselves. So even though this award is not an award in the traditional sense, I feel it does stands for something even more important than an award; it stands for trust, integrity, professionalism and that we deliver above and beyond, every time!
Here’s how WeddingWire explains it. “The Couples’ Choice Awards™ recognizes the top five percent of local wedding professionals from the WeddingWire Network who demonstrate excellence in quality, service, responsiveness and professionalism. Winners of the WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Awards™, previously known as the WeddingWire Bride’s Choice Awards®, are determined by recent reviews and extensive surveys from over a million WeddingWire newlyweds.”
